Service report generator
Create a Professional Service Report
Record what you found, what you did, the parts and labor you actually used, and whether the job is complete, then get the customer’s acknowledgment.
When to use a service report
Use a service report at the end of a visit, whether the work was finished or not. It gives the customer a record of the findings, the work, the charges, and what comes next.
What a service report includes
- Customer, job-site address, service date, technician, and time on site.
- Reported problem, diagnosis and findings, and work performed.
- Actual labor and parts, with a total in the currency you choose.
- Completion status, completion date, outstanding issues, recommendations, and follow-up.
- Equipment details, up to six photos, and the customer’s acknowledgment. Internal notes stay off the PDF.
How to create one
- Enter the customer, the job site, and the visit times.
- Write the reported problem, what you found, and what you did.
- Pick the completion status and note anything left open.
- Add the labor and parts actually used.
- Collect the customer’s acknowledgment, then download the PDF or print it.
Service report or work order?
A work order is written before the job and carries an estimate. A service report is written after the visit and records the actual work and charges.

Questions
What is a service report?
A service report records a visit that already happened: the reported problem, what you found, what you did, the labor and parts actually used, and what still needs attention.
What if the job was not finished?
Choose Partially completed, Unable to complete, or Follow-up required, and list the outstanding issues. JobSheet never marks a job complete for you; the status stays blank until you pick one.
Does a service report show the customer paid?
No. A service report lists the charges for the visit. JobSheet does not take payment or create receipts.
Can I start from a work order?
Yes. Open the work order in the generator and choose “Start a service report from this.” The customer, site, and equipment carry over, and the work order stays in the job list.
Do I need an account?
No. The report is created in this browser and stays on this device.
